Mustard as a "cover plant" in Napa? - napa mustard festival
I have friends in Napa, CA, I often visit. He joked that the goal of the "Napa Valley Mustard Festival is to" keep the tourists during the low season.
I know what is a culture "reporting". But:
"What are the advantages of the mustard seed, the vineyards and wineries offer (as opposed to a selection of vegetables, however, etc.)?"
Thank you in advance.
Def Cover "Cover crops are grown to protect and improve the soil, not the harvest. Cover crops have the potential of the upper layer of soil, control erosion and weeds and maintain soil organic matter to improve. You can reduce compaction and increase infiltration of water, thus leaching of nutrients.
